Judy and Brad Niemeyer designed the layout, instructions, and foundation papers for the Tea Time Placemats. This pattern has been updated (in 2022) using fabrics from Tula Pink’s True Colors collection, and also showcasing modified yardage, allowing you to create the placemats in (4) different background fabrics. However, the newsprint and general assembly approach is the same as the original pattern. A sewing technique called foundation paper piecing is used to assemble the units required to make this quilt. Curved piecing is used to join the units after the foundation piecing is completed. We also now have a Youtube video with Judy, available for free, to teach you how to make this pattern!

We also have free online videos that demonstrate how to make this quilt.  Quilt along with us!
