Stars and Geese was designed by Brad and Judy Niemeyer. A collection of fabrics designed by Island Batik were used to make the quilt shown on the cover. This quilt was designed for foundation paper piecing. If you have never done foundation paper piecing, this would be a great quilt to try out the technique that I teach in all my patterns. Stars and Geese was designed for beginners and those of you who are looking for a fast simple quilt to give as a gift. Traditional piecing, skills are required to finish the quilt top after the foundation piecing is completed. The pattern was written with beginners in mind and has many illustrations and graphics which compliment the written instructions.
