- 70/10 Microtex needle
- High quality cotton thread in a neutral color
- 12” Add-a-quarter ruler
- Flower head pins (their length makes them great for our curved piecing)
- A “purple thang”
- A glue stick
- A medium sized cutting mat, rotary cutter and a 6” x 24” ruler (Judy likes the 60 mm rotary cutter)
- A 3” x 12” piece of template plastic (used for folding. Can be cut from a full sized sheet).
- Sewing machine with a quarter inch foot (or the ability to move the needle position to a 1/4”)

- Fabric: While any fabric can be used for Judy Niemeyer’s beautiful quilts, you’ll find that batiks are especially beautiful and easy to sew because theyhave no right or wrong side.
You will also need:
Large Zip-loc bags,
a roll of Scotch tape, a stapler (optional)
Large paper clips, a pair of scissors for cutting paper.
Assorted binder clips (small to extra large)
Typical sewing supplies (fabric scissors, thread snips, seam ripper etc.)
