Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point • Lehi, UT

We hope you’ll join us for this truly bucket-list worthy quilting event!

Set within the award-winning, 50-acre Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point, the Garden of Quilts is an outdoor exhibition of hundreds of quilts from across the world, as well as rare access to private collections, lectures, trunk shows, and more. The event includes classes from an international roster of favorite teachers (including Judy!), trunk shows demonstrations, and stunning outdoor exhibit of hundreds of beautiful quilts displayed among the flowers and trees.

Judy and Judel will also be at Meet the Maker event on Thursday, September 16th, 2021. Reserve your seats prior to this event. Early bird pricing ends May 31st!

Our Quiltworx Certified Instructors Cindy Haddick and Karen Caduff will run a vendor booth with lots of Quiltworx patterns and kits on Friday and Saturday. Meet with them for great custom kits of Quiltworx products, to find your favorite pattern, and discuss learning opportunities in the Salt Lake area for Quiltworx Patterns in the future!

WATERMELON PLACEMATS

Join Judy Niemeyer and Certified Instructor Karen Caduff to learn to make Watermelon Placemats. Judy will introduce you to a variety of Quiltworx Techniques needed to make this little placemat in her workshop, including understanding the pattern, basic paper piecing techniques, how to use cutting templates, curved-paper piecing, and Judy’s applique technique, which is used to apply the watermelon seeds! We will work on one placemat in class and you will be able to make five additional placemats at home! The class will have a

1 hour lunch break from Noon – 1 pm and be provided by Thanksgiving Point.

STARBABY

Join Judy Niemeyer and Certified Instructor Cindy Haddick to learn to make the Starbaby Wall Hanging, 40” square. Judy will introduce you to a her lone-star piecing technique, which is used on many

of Quiltworx.com’s most popular designs. In this workshop you will also learn how to read a Quiltworx pattern, basic paper piecing techniques, and how to use cutting templates. You will work on (1) Starbaby Wall Hanging in class, but there are enough papers in each pattern to make another one at home! The class will have a 1 hour lunch break from noon – 1 pm and be provided by Thanksgiving Point.
