Always Quilting is the place where Creativity and Community Come Together!  Owned by Kit Morse and Julie McAuliffe, Always Quilting is located in the San Francisco Bay Area on the peninsula between San Francisco and San Jose, with easy access to the surrounding Bay Area.  The San Francisco, San Jose, and Oakland airports are all near by, as well as many great places to stay and eat!

Kit and Julie met through the local quilt guild when Always Quilting was just starting as an online shop.  Within a year, they had opened a brick and mortar store. They have continued to grow the shop significantly over the last 12 years to ultimately create a full service quilt and sewing shop!  Currently, the shop is over 9000 square feet, including a 2500 sq.ft. training room.  So if you are taking a class with us you will have lots of room to spread out!

We pride ourselves on offering a wide variety of fabrics, kits, books, patterns, notions and more!  We are authorized Janome and Handi Quilter Dealers and also offer long arm quilting services, classes, and long arm machine rental.  As a Judy Niemeyer Certified Shop, we are very excited to offer quilting services using the Judy Niemeyer Digitized Designs!
