The Quilter’s Dream is located in Historic downtown Montgomery, Minnesota.  We opened our doors in December of 2006, after many years of dreaming!  We love creating, working with and providing great fabrics and crafts for all of our customers’ needs.  We are known for providing one-of-a-kind kits which are consistently evolving and being refreshed.  If you don’t see what you are looking for, our personal customer service approach will ensure you get what you need to create your masterpiece.

Shortly after opening we added an APQS Long Arm Quilting Machine based on demand from our customers.  This allows us to provide quilting services as well as rental of the machine.  You can finish your own quilt in our shop or have us do it for you!

We added to our expertise by becoming a certified Judy Niemeyer shop in 2017.  Many of our customers requested to learn more about the techniques Judy includes in her patterns, and we have been itching to teach them as well.  Stop by and we are happy to help you choose fabrics for you quilt and answer any questions you may have and get you started on your project.

Michelle McCrady, owner and instructor has been an avid quilter for over 30 years.  Her children would describe it as her addiction while she describes it as her passion.  She offers classes for all skill levels, as well as retreat weekends throughout the year for you to catch-up on all of your UFOs.
