Dining with the Stars table runner is a great little project to get started with if you are just learning about paper piecing, it was designed as a tool to teach beginner level foundation paper piecing. This is also a great project if you just need a quick gift that you can make in a weekend.
Dining with the Stars also has a sister pattern called Mini-Stars which incorporates large and small stars in one table runner, so once you have mastered the small stars there is nothing stopping you from going onto the larger stars. There is no limit to what can be made with a Judy Niemeyer pattern.
