Since 2010, Quiltworx.com has been committed to building relationships with quilt shops who are dedicated to teaching, selling, and kitting our products. Since then, we’ve certified over 75 shops across the US, Canada, Australia, and Europe!  We are thrilled and humbled by the interest in bringing our products to cities all over the world, and are committed to supporting shops and quilters who’ve become addicted to paper-piecing the Quiltworx way.

Quilt with Passion began as a business in 2016 after teaching quilt classes and holding retreats for many years. It developed while pursuing a Certified Instructor Certificate through Judy Niemeyer and Quiltworx. After retiring as an educator and elementary principal, Julie Burger decided to combine her enthusiasm for both teaching and quilting and Quilt With Passion was born. She teaches quilt classes at local quilt shops, holds workshops, trunk shows and retreats for groups and guilds. Julie takes pride in having fun and “SEWcial” sewing while learning in her classes and hopes that every class feels like a special event.

Julie co-owns a successful longarm quilting business over the past 14 years called Quilts Complete! In Oswego, NY with Peg Stone and Pat Osetek. She also has a quilting studio with five dear friends: Carol, Janet, Judy, Kathy and Marybeth, where she gets to laugh, relax and social sew on a regular basis. She considers herself a very lucky woman who can take all of her training as an educator and educational leader and put them together with her passion for quilting to teach classes to both new and experienced quilters! Julie lives in Oswego, NY with her husband of 37 years, Rich and her four grown children, Laura, David, Michael and Ryan.

I know how frustrating it can be when things we make don’t turn out the way we plan in our mind. For me, most of the time it was because I didn’t know the tips, tricks, and the “why” things needed to be done a certain way to achieve that perfect result.

Training with top professionals from around the world in caking, sugar art, quilting, embroidery, and long arm quilting helped me learn how things needed to be done to get the result that I wanted. Now I teach others what I have learned so they can find the same success and feel proud of what they create with their own hands. I can’t wait to help you create beautiful things.
