12″or 18″ template plastic – I have cards available if you don’t have template plastic

Add a Quarter Ruler – must have!

Size 70 Microtex Needles

Extra wound bobbins

Rotary cutter

Extra blades  a new blade is recommended when starting

6″ x 24″ ruler (or similar) – smaller rulers may come in handy but are not required

Scissors

Sewing machine and accessories – including quarter inch foot

Scotch tape

Glue stick

Flower Pins

1 or 2 Gallon Ziplock bags – the number of bags depends on the pattern, I usually use a box.  Bigger patterns may use more; newer patterns use small bags as well.

Stapler optional; used to cut out papers

Purple Thang – not required, but comes in handy!

Paper clips and binder clips

Glue Pens – Avery, Fons & Porter etc.  Not required, but you will want this if you are doing curved piecing!!

Preparing:  Please purchase fabric and pattern ahead of time.  Cutting out fabric in advance will help you get farther in class and is recommended but not necessary.  Ana has a closed Facebook group to post videos, tips and tricks on how to prepare.  Once you’ve paid for class you may ask to be added to Tips and Tricks with Ana on Facebook; being added may take several days.  If you have any questions please contact me in advance!
