Below is a list of things I will need you have ready for me to use while teaching that I am unable to bring or ship.
Sewing Machine: Bernina 440 or 430
Knee Lift
I will need a large, cutting mat.
A small, flat ironing board.
One 6″ by 24″ ruler
One 12″ by 24″ ruler
Quilt racks to display the quilts we are working on in class or a place to hang them.
A table for the me to sew at and use for demonstrations.
A table for the me to display patterns and tools on.
You should be able to talk to a local Bernina dealer about loaning me a sewing machine to use in class. They will usually do this for promotional reasons. You can tell them I work in a Bernina shop and demonstrate these machines all the time. I have all the feet available for the machines listed. I use them in all my demonstrations. If something else has to be substituted, I must know in advance. All my tools and feet are set up to fit on the machines that are listed. The knee lift is very important. I cannot sew without it. I would also be willing to hand out any promotional ads that Bernina may be having at the time to the students.
I believe I can bring everything else that I need with me on the plane for my demonstrations and lecture.
