Pre-cutting the fabrics is a mandatory requirement prior to taking this course. Please begin preparing for class at least 3-WEEKS prior to the class to make sure that you are able to get familiar with your pattern and complete the pre-cutting beforehand. It is important that you have your pre-class cutting completed. If this step is not completed, you will have a very difficult time keeping up and participating in the instruction. We recommend reading through your entire pattern before beginning.

CORRECTIONS: PLEASE visit our website prior to class and make sure that you have the latest corrections for the pattern.  Corrections are listed in our pattern gallery on our website at http://quiltworx.com/patterns. Click on the Wedding Ring Bed Runner pattern and check the right column of the webpage for more information.  If your pattern has a QR Code printed on the back, you may also scan this with your smartphone to go directly to the page and upload the corrections to your phone.

Fabric Selection:  To select fabrics for your Wedding Ring Bed Runner, you need to choose fabrics for the arcs, the corners, and the background.  You will need 8 fabrics that blend in texture and value for the arcs.  Arrange these from light to dark.  There are four fabrics for the corners, 2 medium-light and 2 medium dark.  There are also four background fabrics for the centers and melons.  These should blend in color and value.  Refer to the back page of your pattern for more information on yardage and selection.

General Information: Please read through this section on page 1 of your pattern before completing the steps below.  We recommend checking our website for pattern corrections before you begin cutting your fabric. Precut your Foundation papers as outlined in the instructions.  You do not need to cut your Templates.  Various options will be demonstrated for this in class.

Note: Please make sure all of the Template Sheets, Foundation Sheets, and fabric pieces are placed in the correct bags.

Cutting Instructions:  Please only follow the cutting instructions for Part 1 of this pattern, which involves preparing your strips.  Be careful to place the fabric strips in the correct page.  You do not need to cut any of the background templates prior to class.  Your instructor will demonstrate this cutting in class using both the templates included in the pattern and also, the Creative Grids Wedding Ring Templates.
