We’re pleased to announce our next Quilt-Along with Judy Live Event, The Goodnight Star, is right around the corner and it’s FREE! Not only that but we’ve upgraded our internet and think that the Live Stream will be much better this time around! To test it out, we’re doing a pre-class Live Stream on November 15, 2022, where we’ll show you Quiltster and the Goodnight Star pattern, how to find kits, and also explain how to prepare your kits for the event.

Then you can join us on December 2, 2022, for The Goodnight Star Live Stream! You’ll learn everything you need to know to complete this pattern, and the techniques can be used for many of our other patterns as well (like Starbaby, and portions of Twinkle Star), so it will be well worth seeing, even if you’re working on other patterns.

Mark your calendars:

November 15, 2022 – 1-2 p.m. MST – Goodnight Star Pre-Class Live Stream
December 2, 2022 – 1 p.m. to (no later than) 5 p.m. MST – The Goodnight Star

All of Judy’s live demonstrations will be recorded, so if you can’t make the Live Events, all of the segments will be available for viewing after the classes have ended on both Facebook and YouTube, free. If there are technical difficulties, we’ll record the session off-line, and post it on both our Facebook feed and our YouTube Channel.

As mentioned, kits and patterns are available. Quiltworx and our wonderful Certified Shops and Instructors will be preparing kits for all of these classes, so check out the links below.

If you’d like to make the Tula Pink version of these patterns, but already have an older version of the patterns in a different colorway, we recommend purchasing the updated pattern/instructions as they’re written for these workshops and the Tula Pink colorways. That will make it easier for you to follow along with the workshop.

THE GOODNIGHT STAR PATTERN

This is a very affordable queen sized quilt, pattern, and is perfect as an introduction to paper piecing because the whole quilt uses one technique!

The Starbaby layout includes foundation papers to make (4) 16” blocks that create a small lonestar. It’s a great introductory pattern that can be completed in just a few hours.

TWINKLE STAR

The pattern includes three distinct groups. Group A is the Lonestar, Group B is the New York Beauty blocks, and Group C the border. The Goodnight Star Live Event will only cover Group A.
