Here's what's new at Quiltworx for March 2020.

Summer is here, and the snow has almost all melted here in Montana! We’ve been working feverishly on our new publications, and are excited to show them off to you today!

These new patterns are also available in the Quiltster App, and we’re adding old patterns as we can, too! If you’ve never heard of Quiltster, it’s an incredible fabric auditioning software that allows you to pick and choose fabrics before you spend money. It’s also a great place to make and/or order kits in your favorite fabrics through the Marketplace.

Cosmic Shimmer

68″ x 68″ • Fabrics: Tula Pink’s True Colors Collection with FreeSpirit Fabrics

Cosmic Shimmer was created from elements of the new Stella Maris Mixer, which will be releasing later this year. This 68×68 quilt is just magical in Tula Pink’s True Colors collection with FreeSpirit Fabrics. The cover quilt was pieced and quilted by the wildly talented Certified Instructor Stephanie Baker of Stephaniez Quiltz! Macaw

This gorgeous rainbow quilt using Timeless Treasures Fabrics Java Blenders just speaks to us, in more than a “Polly wants a cracker…” kind of way! This new Stella Maris Mixer pattern is 57×57, but can be expanded to 68×68 with a variety of border designs, and then turned on point and enlarged to 99×99 with a number of queen border designs! The combinations for Macaw are endless. Farmhouse Collection with Hoffman Fabrics

Silver Shores, a 68×68 beauty, was the first release of a design from our Stella Maris Mixer series! It’s made from Hoffman’s Vintage Farmhouse Collection by McKenna Ryan. All of the Stella Maris designs are expandable in size to a 99″ square with the addition of one of our many Queen Expansion border designs.

Look for FREE online videos on our YouTube channel demonstrating the construction of these blocks as part of a Stella Maris Mixer Series later this year!

Valley Blossoms – a Worx Sessions Pattern!

Valley Blossoms is part of a free tutorial series that will be available on our YouTube channel starting in April. Quilt along with Judy Niemeyer and Vanessa Fromm as Judy demonstrates paper her piecing techniques for each block, and Vanessa demonstrates how she creates her digitized embroidery designs which complement the applique pieces so beautifully.

It’s worth noting that the extraordinary quilting on this sample, complete with DRAGONFLIES, was done by Shawna Crawford of Shawna Crawford’s Quilt Creations, and it has the wow-factor!

It’s our latest design from our upcoming Stella Maris Mixer series, which means it can be expanded in size to either 68×68 or 99×99 with a variety of border designs.
